I'm posting this as a sort of Tasertricks Day celebration for myself (because a year ago I posted my first Tasertricks work, though I was always intrigued by these two, I only got serious about a year ago.), and also as a late celebration of Kat Denning's birthday (I only just learned about it the day after :S). I've been working on this for months now, I think since the end of last year and I didn't think I would be able to color it before I left for Sweden, but here we are! I'm very happy with it and once again feel that I'm learning some new coloring techniques. I think I've spent upwards of 30 hours on this thing in total, so I'm also very happy to have it finished! Any of you that know or watch me know that I am VERY much inspired by Art Nouveau, especially works by the master, Alphonse Mucha. This here was referenced from a Mucha piece, but with some Tasertricks twists (and some twists of my own). The Flowers are not randomly picked, but chosen for their meanings. The Stargazer lilies on Loki's side mean ambition while the gladiolus blooms on Darcy's side mean boldness. I thought those flowers elegantly fit them and their roles of this piece.
