Finally got around to making a proper drawing for my fic by the same name. I got the idea based off of Einstein's theory of entanglement (especially how Adam explains it in the movie Only Lovers Left Alive). Being that I've felt things that other people that are close to me are feeling yet can be miles away (even over the pond), leads me to feel that entanglement doesn't just involve particles. I had had a feeling my mom had passed before I knew of it, so it's possible...but yeah...back to the fic before things get too personal...I wanted to play around with the idea of entanglement between two people that begins from the moment they meet, causing them to feel what the other feels even across the universe. That is why I have them in a sort of yin-yang position, to "show" that they are realms apart without actually drawing those realms. The little things inside their chests are particles, and their particles' energies are reaching out for the other just as their hands are. We are made up of particles or star dust, so why can't we become entangled with another person (sometimes I feel more than one person) like single particles do to one another?
This is the first "big" detailed drawing I've done in a LONG time...since my grandma's ordeal this spring. It was very fun to draw and it was nice feeling like my drawing muscles were getting a good oiling, but man Loki's outfit is a bitch... it gave me good wardrobe practice I feel though : p
